Are they going to cover my roof after hail or wind or are they going to deny it?
It is contingent upon your policy and what the inspection reveals. We know dealing with storm damage and making an insurance claim can be stressful, so we start by inspecting the roof for hail or wind damage. We document what we find and can help you with the insurance process by providing information on the damage and work needed. We can’t tell you whether an insurer will approve a claim, but we can help you understand the condition of your roof and the extent of the repairs or replacement.
My ceiling is leaking right now. What do I have to do before anybody comes?
If your roof is leaking, take clear photos of the affected area to document the damage, then call us for emergency roof leak repairs. We offer 24/7 emergency roofing service and can assess where the water is entering. If weather conditions prevent a permanent repair, we can install a tarp to help protect your home until the roof can be safely repaired.
How much will my life and my yard be disrupted when my roof is replaced?
We understand a roof replacement may interfere with your normal routine, so we work to keep the process moving. Most of our roofing projects are completed in 1-2 days, depending on the size of the project and the weather. When the job is done we clean up the job site and do a final walk through with you. That gives an opportunity to review the work together and make sure the project is properly closed out.
Can I put a new roof over my old shingles and save money?
Covering an existing roof can hide problems underneath and add extra weight to the roof system. That is why we inspect the existing roof before recommending the right approach. If the roof needs to be replaced, we can remove the existing roofing materials and prepare the roof for the new roofing system. We look at the roof’s condition first rather than assuming that adding another layer is the best way to save money.
Why is my roof leaking when the shingle appears fine?
A roof can leak even if the shingles don’t appear to be damaged. Water can enter through flashing, vents or other parts of the roof and travel before it hits the ceiling. That can make the visible stain different than the actual entry point. When we look at a leaking roof, we look for the source of the water. We don’t assume that the stain tells us exactly where the problem is. Once we figure out what is causing the problem, we can suggest the repair that fixes the problem we find.
